TEEN STRENGTH PROGRAM

Winter 2025

This program is designed to help teens get stronger, faster, and more resistant to injuries. Our main goal is to teach them how to lift safely, and in doing so, build their self confidence, and learn to move their bodies better. These are skills that will last a lifetime! Whether your teen is a student athlete trying to make their high school team, or just has a casual interest in learning more about fitness, this program will be highly impactful and fun.

The winter session will last for 8 weeks, starting Monday January 6th and running until Wednesday, Feb 26.

Classes are Mondays & Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

This program is capped at a maximum of TEN participants per session!

Cost for the program is $400, split into two payments of $200. Thanks to the generosity of our members and Hamline-Midway neighbors, we have some limited financial aid available. If the cost is the only thing holding you back from signing up your teen, please fill out the scholarship application here:

Meet Your Coaches

Coach Kathie will be the strength coach for the Teens Program! Kathie found fitness later in life yet is enthusiastic about helping others tap into their abilities and reach their goals. An avid trail runner, Kathie is always eager to take on an endurance event, but also loves to lift! She is a certified First Degree Coach through Two Brain Coaching, and coaches full-time at Ripple Effect.

Coach Chris has been an athlete for life! Growing up his main sport was hockey, but also played soccer and was on swim team for three years as a kid. As an adult he's competed in CrossFit competitions, inline skating marathons, triathlons, and continues to find new ways to challenge himself. Chris will be the agility + plyometrics coach for the Teens Program. This is the exact opportunity he wishes he had when he was a teen, to get stronger and be less prone to injuries in his hockey days! Chris is the owner of RECF.
